Instructions for Growing Apple Watermelon Seeds
- Step 1: Soak the seeds
Soak seeds in warm water with a ratio of 1 hot : 3 cold for 6–10 hours. For hard-coated seeds, soak for 12–24 hours (change water twice a day), then rinse and wrap them in a damp cloth until they sprout before sowing (do not let the cloth dry out while waiting for them to sprout).
Small seeds: Strawberry, cabbage varieties, flowers, celery, tomato, chili, carrot, spinach...
Hard-coated seeds: Melon, watermelon, eggplant, okra, loofah, spinach, amaranth, etc.
- Step 2: Germination
Prepare cocopeat tablets or loose, well-aerated soil.
Sow the seeds 0.5–1 cm deep depending on the seed type and keep the soil moist. Place the seed tray in a location with 6–12 hours/day of indirect sunlight (avoid harsh sun). When the seedlings reach 7–10 cm in height, with 2–3 true leaves, transplant them into the garden.
- Step 3: Care
Water once or twice daily to maintain moisture.
If needed, apply additional manure or organic fertilizer.
- Step 4: Harvest
